New: Tyr Roots blowers from Busch

Dr.-Ing. K. Busch GmbH has introduced a brand new series of Roots blowers to the market. The Roots blowers have the brand name of Tyr and are available as both a vacuum version with differential pressures of up to 500 millibars and an over pressure version with differential pressures up to 1000 millibars. The range of six different sizes cover volumetric flows from 2.5 to 73.0 cubic metres per minute.
Tyr Roots blowers are extremely compact and feature high-performance three-lobe blower stages. The high efficiency motors that are tailored precisely to the operational requirements and the use of energy-saving motors (EFF1) make Tyr Roots blowers highly energy-efficient over other pressure or vacuum generators. Tyr Roots blowers operate at low noise levels thanks to their innovative silencing concept that makes the Tyr, depending on the version, on average 4 to 5 dB(A) below the noise levels of comparable blowers on the market. Thanks to the non-contact compression, no operating fluid is necessary. Service is limited to routine work that can be carried out easily from the front of the blower. Monitoring of the filter, oil level, and operating pressure is simple via displays mounted directly on the blower or the acoustic enclosure. Tyr Roots blowers can be installed with and without acoustic enclosures.

Tyr Roots blowers can be used for all applications in industry that require vacuum or over pressure. Their principal areas of application are for pneumatic conveying systems, food technology, the plastics industry and environmental technology. The wide range of sizes and motor variants and the extensive accessory programme means Tyr Roots blowers can be individually and precisely adapted to any application.
