Busch (UK) Ltd is an Investor In People

What is Investors in People? The Investors in People Standard provides a framework that helps organisations to improve performance and realise objectives through the effective management and development of their people.

Everyone agrees that people are an organisation's greatest asset, and we all know that for an organisation to succeed everyone has to perform well. To achieve this, people need the right knowledge, skills and motivation to work efficiently.

No matter what the size or type of any organisation, the Investors in People Standard is there to help to improve the way the company works. You have to meet the same criteria – or 'indicators' – as other organisations, but the Standard recognises that you will meet them in your own way. Investors in People recognises that organisations use different means to achieve success through their people. The Standard does not prescribe any one method, but it provides a framework to help to find the most suitable means for achieving success through their people.

Busch (UK) Ltd's Managing Director said: “We have been working very hard on the IIP (Investors In People) Standard over the last two years and although it seems like a long time we have realized that spending this time was necessary to achieve all this certification. You can’t just go along and hope to be able to include it on the bottom of you letter headed paper, it really needs structured investigation, changes in the process and more important steady work on. But I can honestly say it was worth every minute! I am very delighted to say that we have achieved all required standards and we now have the official IIP certificate.

By winning the accreditation Busch has demonstrated that our people management, practices and processes are better than to our competitors and we have over the last two years worked very hard to bring the principles of investors in people into our daily work. However we will not stop, this is not an initiative or a whim, this is how we run our business - continuously improving our company to the benefit of our customers and our employees - well done everybody in this great achievement.”
