A Telford landlord has reaped rewards of using their local pump and blower manufacturer to fix its kitchen equipment.

Mark Jenkins took his broken vacuum packer to Busch, which conducted an on-the-spot evaluation, identified the problem and had the fixed equipment delivered back to the pub within 48 hours.

The Compasses Inn, located in Ketley has become reliant on its vacuum packer, used to seal raw and pre-cooked meats, and Busch was able to ensure that disturbance to the business was minimal.

Mark said: “The vacuum packer preserves food for up to three times as long as normal and has become invaluable for stock control and the ability to offer fresh produce.

“When the vacuum packer became unserviceable I needed a quick solution. After a prior conversation the Busch engineers identified the problem while I waited and provided a solution faster than I could have hoped.

“The equipment is now working perfectly and I’m delighted with the results.”

The vacuum packer had a faulty motor and pump so Busch replaced them with new parts, taking the other items away for repair. The rejuvenated vacuum packer was then delivered back to the pub in time for lunch.
