Busch Put Cocktail Sausages on the M.A.P.

The use of Modified Atmosphere Packaging is rapidly becoming regarded as 'best practice', following advice from the Food Standards Agency. Busch UK, at the forefront of delivering this technology to food manufacturers nationwide, have made M.A.P. an even more hygienic alternative to the traditional over-wrapping. So much so, that we have been inundated with orders for new systems.

One such order was from Geo. Adams, the long-established Lincolnshire sausage manufacturer. Producers of fine pork sausages, Geo. Adams have been producing the raw bangers for many years at their Ruskington site. Previously they needed to transport their cocktail sausages to their Spalding site for frying, and back to Ruskington for packing and despatch to customers.

To overcome this, the company have built a new sausage frying and packaging facility, incorporating a Busch system alongside a Mondini packing machine - another partnering between firm industry friends.

Not only is the new M.A.P. system more hygienic (one reason being that no pumps or oil mist are present in the packaging area), it is more effective - for the following reasons: Quite simply, this equates to 'best practice' for manufacturers of foods of all kinds, from fresh meats to cooked meats, poultry to pitta bread. Not surprisingly then, our growing reputation in the food industry has
lead to considerable demand.

Our relationship with Geo. Adams is a prime example of the reasons for Busch's gains in the market. An early advocate of M.A.P., we have collaborated with many of the packing machine manufacturers to produce systems that cannot fail to please.

Best of all, on top of a competitive and inclusive price for the complete design, build and installation, a Busch vacuum system can be in place and working in as little as 9 weeks.

Not surprising, given the features outlined above, has been the impact on the industry in terms of projected on-going costs; with lower running costs and more uptime, it's no wonder more and more manufacturers are turning to M.A.P.
Best of all, perhaps, is the extended shelf life offered by M.A.P. - for cocktail sausage fans and Geo. Adams alike!
